Ed Kileff

Senior Site Design Engineer

Ed is responsible for project engineering on customer sites. He works closely with our commercial, engineering and operations teams to pull the concept into a deployable solution ready for manufacture. Ed has a diverse background, holding a BSc in Environmental Biology and Master’s degree in Environmental Management and Consultancy where he worked as an ecologist part-time alongside his studies. Ed started his working life in the paper industry where he held various roles over eight years from continuous improvement to innovation management. He found his passion for decarbonisation when he developed a first of a kind 6 MW steam producing heat pump for the paper industry where he developed a breadth of skill in thermodynamics and across mechanical, electrical, control and civil engineering. Ed continued his career as a decarbonisation consultant using his expertise in electrification to support food, paper and chemical industries with their energy efficiency and net-zero goals. Ed lives ‘up-north’ and frequents the Lake District hills. Ed enjoys bouldering, walking, DIY and travelling especially when it involves a bit of adventure and wildlife.
