Niraj Mhatre is one of our mechanical specialists and part of the Engineering team. Having recently completed his MSc in Advanced Engineering at Cranfield University, he is applying structural analysis techniques and heat transfer calculations to our heat battery designs. He ensures that parts can withstand thermal stresses and mechanical loadings. Before enrolling at Cranfield, Niraj pursued a career on merchant ships, managing fuel systems on cargo vessels, but decided that a land-based role was more stable.

Away from the office, he is a coffee aficionado and our go-to person for the perfect coffee.
